Interview with Tyler Cole
In my final piece with V Magazine, I had the privilege of being published in Gen V Magazine’s Winter 2023 issue in print. I was given the opportunity to interview the dynamic artist Tyler Cole following his headline show in Los Angeles and the release of Existential Crisis Boy: Part 1. In this intimate conversation, Cole shared his intentional approach to the multi-part project, emphasizing his continuous pursuit of growth. Reflecting on the success of “Meet Me at Our Spot” with Willow Smith as part of their band THE ANXIETY, Cole discussed his work as an artist regarding mental health awareness in the Black community. Cole’s unwavering drive and ambition were evident as he explores his eclectic musical influences, creative process, and collaborations in his latest album release.
