Summer 2023 Journalism Program

Ella was admitted to NYU’s Summer Journalism Program in 2023. She took two courses for a total of six credits. Working with highly-esteemed professors, Ella was able to refine her voice within op-ed and think pieces while using research and data to argue a point in the course, “Writing the Thinkpiece”. Along with with writing, Ella perfected her interview techniques, honed her editing skills, and mastered short-form features and news pieces in the course, “Journalistic Inquiry”.
